I selected this company for three reasons in order of importance: 1) they are woman-owned and I have spent my professional career advocating for and assisting women-owned businesses in the southwest and across the nation. I believe in women-owned businesses. 2) they were the only moving company of all that I sought quotes from who sent a person out to my house to assess the need before quoting a price. 3) they gave me a "not to exceed" price that was very competitive. My actual experience with the owner, Teresa, and with one of her managers, JB, was deplorable. She did not deliver the equipment that she promised, including a trailer that was assessed as needed, picture boxes for delicate artwork, etc. The crew arrived an hour late (at 10:30 am) and didn't leave with all my belongings until 7:00 pm. Teresa arrived at 6:00 having finally got a trailer. She did not apologize for anything, blamed the moving crew who were nothing but gentlemen, and her only response to my complaints was "read your contract". A manager that was with her (JB) shot me the finger and called me a curse word (B....) twice. He was very threatening. I will share this information with my network of women owned businesses, government entities, and major corporations. This is a business that no one should ever use.
