Spare yourself the stress and grief and hire someone else. Our salesperson, Rachel, was really nice and we did a virtual walkthrough of our home with her. The bid came in significantly lower than others so we went with them. Big mistake. Ten days before the move, they did a second walkthrough and increased the price by $5,000! They said that there were additional items not in the original estimate. I spent hours on the phone with various people from Native but this was basically extortion. I was being held hostage at this point because the move was ten days away and I couldn't find another mover with little notice. The third party Native contracted with handled the pick up fine but delivery to our new home was a nightmare. They arrived when they said they would, which is a good thing, but they were rude and kept saying that they had to be in Denver that evening. Well that's not my problem. They put a bookcase in the basement when it was supposed to be in the living room and then refused to move it unless I paid them more money. I had to negotiate with the two day laborers they hired and paid them $42 just to move the bookcase where it belonged. More extortion! They broke the handle off of a piece of valuable furniture. A patio lounge chair, dolly, one box of artwork and a very heavy marble table top were missing. For all of this Native offered me less than $100. AND they make you sign a document saying that you nor anyone in your family will make any disparaging remarks about Native online or otherwise. So I am writing this knowing that I will probably have to take it down just to get a few bucks from them. No where in the contract does it say that an insurance claim will only be paid if you sign a waiver. When I asked about this they said this is the standard contract they have been using for years. Just like other reviewers have said, they low-ball you with an initial estimate, and then extort you for more money when they know you have no choice.

Awful experience. I chose NVL based on online ratings, please do not fall for this. There is nothing professional, ethical, or effective about this firm. Think twice about choosing this broker. 1. Nobody answers the phone. Once you pay the initial deposit they go radio silent. 2. You get ~24 hours notice on when the movers are arriving, ~24 hour notice upon delivery 3. Upon arrival the movers immediately look to see what you forgot to claim, then the NVL rep calls and asks this exact question in an attempt to add additional fees. Carrier (NVL is the Broker who contracts out to a Carrier) 1. Five hours late upon delivery 2. Unloading and carrying -> To be performed by YOU. One of the two movers went home upon their late arrival, so myself and the driver moved everything off the truck, onto dollies, and into my storage unit. Still charged for Labor Services though. 3. BUY INSURANCE. I watched the mover break my desk by tumbling it off the truck onto the dolly. I was reimbursed $0.60 / lb. for my new desk. ($600 desk = $90 reimbursement). Wish the NVL rep recommended insurance. Bottom Line - Do not trust their online rating. It is inaccurate. Unprofessional, unsatisfactory, did not meet the agreed-upon contract terms. Failed to answer calls and emails throughout the process.

Beware of Native Van Lines. Worst moving experience I could ever imagine. Our furniture was held for nearly 4 weeks and when it finally arrived, our living room furniture was scratched up so bad we had to sell it for a fraction of the cost it was once worth. They dropped our safe from the truck 5 feet to the ground. Go with a reputable mover that stands by their service. It isn’t these guys.

Native Van Lines made moving a nice experience. My father will be moving soon and I will be recommending this moving company. This was by far the best moving experience I’ve had! I highly recommend.

Native Van Lines was seamless . Even though they arrived on time, they were very efficient in disassembling and reassembling the furniture and ended up finishing an hour earlier. Will certainly use these guys again.
