TLDR: Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life, issues at every step of the process. Still trying to resolve all this months later. Choose literally any other moving company. I normally don't feel the need to write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn people about this company. I contracted with Native Van Lines to move and pack my things making it very clear that the timeline of my move was very important. I paid nearly 1,000 dollars more because I needed all my stuff to get to my new apartment by mid-September (it did not). On the phone with quality assurance I double checked there was nothing I needed to do to ensure that the extra items I had acquired needed to be counted, that they would pack my things in their own packing materials, and arrive the 22nd. Both the quality assurance team, and the representative, Marshall Marik, who was trying to sell me on choosing native basically lied to my face. (I have tried contacting Marshall nearly 30 times since and he has not responded to any of my calls, emails, or texts.) To start, the movers showed up a day early, did not bring packing materials, instead took boxes and containers from my family home and then refused to take the things that were unpacked (which were unpacked only because they had been expected to pack them). They did not protect my mattress or any of my belongings and they did not take the wardrobe or any of the dish boxes I had specifically put into the inventory. I even spoke to the driver directly on the phone who assured me it would be no problem to take things that were not specifically on the list, although the packed boxes were on the list, because I had paid for the added base weight (and was told by the QA dept that I would be able to add anything I wanted for that weight without having to update the inventory). Despite this, the movers wound up leaving nearly half my things because they were not packed and they didn't have the materials to pack them. For the next week and a half I tried to get ahold of Native Van Lines through various channels to locate my things and to resolve the fact that they were unprotected and a great deal of my items were not taken. After calling, emailing, and texting numerous times I managed to get into contact with one rep who assured me this was going to be top priority and he would get back to me soon. Despite reaching out to him nearly every other day after, I received no response and it was never resolved. Instead, Native ignored me, only replying after I threatened a chargeback, when it was too late for the movers to turn around. After fighting with them, they said the best they could do was take off the packing fee, which was woefully inadequate as I had contracted for certain items to be taken AND for those items to be crated and padded. None were, and as a result of their reckless pickup, nearly every furniture item I sent with them was broken or damaged. In particular, my antique mirror was snapped in half, and the mover who delivered it said "No one packs a mirror like this, I can't believe they did this." On top of all this, when my items were due to be delivered, I was given 3 different prices, none of which were accurate to the balance I actually owed. I was yelled at on the phone by both the carrier and the driver, and both threatened to send my stuff back across the country if I did not accede to their demands. Native claimed it had resolved the issue 3 times, and still on the day of delivery I was overcharged for the service, on top of already having overpaid the pickup fee. Native said they would refund me this difference the same day, nearly 2 weeks later I have not received it. I'm particularly aggrieved by this experience bc I chose NVL despite the fact that they changed their original quote on me, resulting in a significantly higher price. The blatant disregard for my time, energy, and the severe lack of communication or effort to resolve their errors is unacceptable. This is frankly some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered, there is no excuse. Stay away.

I spoke with their sales rep and he is very nice guy. He knows exactly what I needed. He explained all the details and patiently answered all my questions. On the moving day he sent over a great team. The 3 men crew was too good! I think I got more than I paid for. I loved the way the managed to move all the heavy furniture without any damages. They also patiently packed almost 50 boxes. They did everything I wanted and even helped us at our new home. I’m very glad I chose Native van lines. I will definitely use you again if I have to.

We are very much pleased with the service we received from Nature van lines. The company is very reliable and they handled all our requests, even though we called in to schedule same-day move. To our surprise, they honored it and still did a really great job. All our furniture was handled with care and none of our stuff got broken. This is definitely the best moving company around here. We warmly recommend them!
