I recommend that this moving company be avoided at all costs or it will cost you. This company issued a binding moving estimate at a low price. Binding estimates are just that, they are binding by federal law and federal law prohibits moving companies (49 C.F. R. § 375.403) from loading up their trucks and then demanding more money. Changes in pricing may take place BEFORE the truck is loaded and with written consent to a new price estimate. Master Moving will load up the truck first with all of your belongings and then ask for more money. Please see the numerous complaints regarding this "shake down" for more money on the Better Business Bureau site (https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/oxnard/profile/movers/master-moving-inc-1236-92073000). In addition to breach of contract and breaking federal law, this company moved a sofa up the stairs in my home and punched holes and dents in the walls and broke a light fixture. They told me to provide a quote for the repairs. I received two quotes for $900 and one for $1,500. Master Moving said that their handyman said that the repairs should be no more than $250.00. They said that they would send someone, but would not give me the name or the contractor license number. For liability issues I declined their "repair". I have never worked with a contractor or service provider with such disdain and disregard for their customers. Giving this company a rating of “one” is far too generous.
