This is the worst company that I have ever worked with. They were pushy and bordered on a hard sale, despite my discomfort. They refused to cancel my move, refund me or even resolve the issue. I kept getting told they’re looking into it but they weren’t and trying to get ahold of anyone that can help is such a headache. I’d never recommend this company.
FROM THE BOOKING CALLS, THE AGENT LIED TO ME AT EVERY TURN. HE LIED ANSWERING MOST OF MY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD TO ENSURE THAT MY MOVE WAS EXECUTED TO MY SATISFACTION. MOVING DAY WAS A NIGHTMARE. THE MOVERS WERE ILL-PREPARED AND LEFT MY HOME FOR OVER AN HOUR TO BUY SUPPLIES. THEY STILL DID NOT WRAP MY FURNITURE IN QUILTS AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE. AMONG MANY OTHER ISSUES, THEY PILED STUFF ON TOP OF MY ANTIQUE DINING ROOM TABLE AND BROKE THE LEGS!!! OTHER ITEMS WERE DAMAGED AND THEY DID NOT SET UP A BARRISTER BOOKCASE AND MY SECOND TV AS PROMISED IN THE BOOKING CALL.
I really like working with this company. This is my third time using them and it was a great experience. They even helped me wrap my T.Vs and that helped a lot. The guys were professional and worked fast. Will use them again in the future.
UPDATE: After speaking and working with Landstar we were able to solve the issues. I was able to file the claim, I had a type on the name so it was not popping up on their system. They were able to submit the claims and I was compensated for the items. Landstar was able to issue an additional $300 refund for the misunderstanding and I was able to save a ton once it was all set and done. Thank you!
Damaged my property and told me I had to file a claim with there insurance company which turned out to be a lie because the claim company said they don’t have Landstar van lines in their database. Now after being paid in full Landstar van lines refuses to pay for my television and now will not answer me.
