Everyone listen!!! Yes, it is true that Expo Van Lines is a shady company, with bad practices, and horrible staff that don’t know how to follow through on anything, and people that take your money and then go awol on communication. But I would like to share how I successfully obtained my deposit refund. It has been over a month since we sent a deposit to Expo Van Lines for a long distance move from Illinois to Florida. Today, we finally received a refund after I took the following meticulous steps: 1. Call them. IF they answer, tell them you want a refund. WHEN they don’t answer, leave a message saying you want a refund. 2. Send an email to the only email that exists for this company: [email protected] saying that you want a refund. 3. After they don’t respond, you’ll know these steps are working! Then, proceed to absolutely bombard their email inbox with scheduled emails. I simply sent the exact same email asking for my refund every minute for the next 100 minutes (you see, because gmail only lets you schedule 100 emails at any given time). And I told them that all they have to do to stop receiving my emails asking for my money they stole is send me my money. Until that happens, the same email will be sent to their inbox every single minute for the foreseeable future. 4. After about 30 minutes and 30 emails later, hop onto your Venmo app and search for Expo Van Lines. Fun fact: you should even be able to see my very request that got me my refund today! So request your rightfully due refund from them, with a cheeky message, and BOOM! They will send you your money in less than 5 minutes. I kid you not my fellow victims of this despicable company’s practices, I charged them the exact amount of my deposit, and they paid it in LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES!!! 5. Spread the word that this is a nightmare company to deal with, and no one should EVER hire them for ANY move. REMEMBER: do NOT let up. Slam their inbox with emails. Schedule those emails NONSTOP. And I want to thank all the employees that I know of at Expo Van Lines who drove me to this point: James White in “accounting” who never answers his phone. Regina Green, the manager of “customer service” who doesn’t give out her last name over the phone but includes it in her email signature. Megan, who lied about processing our refund the first time, and who transferred me to the fictitious “accounting” department. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Do NOT hire Expo Van Lines.

I had an estimate that was way under estimated. They had no communication with me as to when my materials will arrive. If you try to call like maybe 20% they even pick up. If they do the will “get back to you when they touch base with the dispatcher”. Which I got one call just saying “mechanical issues”. They said 3-5 days delivery don’t plan on getting your stuff within 2 weeks. You will only get a call a day before they come.

2nd time using Expo Van Lines- both times stress-free and straightforward. The two men were punctual and polite. Took care with our possessions. Highly recommend them.

We were unsure of the moving process with a POD, but the experience was perfect. We were able to not rush to our destination, which gave us time to visit with family. The luggage came when they said, and everything went well.

Nathan and his group have been amazing, making my complete move experience run smoothly. Being pleasant and efficient, and satisfied to go the greater mile. They went above and beyond my expectations. I suggest those men to everybody in a heartbeat!
