I would give zero stars if I could. Showed up with a half full truck, and then claimed it was the size we requested. We measured the truck and they lied, so we had to source another company to move the stuff they refused to.
Please DO NOT have use this moving company, if they are actually a business. Some kind of way, they fall under Nationwide Moving. Adam and his Staff go against all policies while attempting to collect more money. They don’t want to deliver your furniture, accept payments set forth with guidelines but threaten to auction your items. I am so tired of their attitudes acting as if your furniture is somehow theirs. I have turned them over to the local Los Angeles Police Department.
Elk Moving and Hauling overcharged by $9500 versus the broker price. Shipped items 6 weeks after complaining on BBB site. Tried to add delivery cost we said no. They partially delivered. Missing old family jewelry $25k. They refuse to investigate. Broke furniture $2k as well. They asked us to take legal course of action. Not customer friendly.
Half of items damaged and no longer safe for use. Rude dishonest and disrespectful customer service- management was never present to address issues. Damaged property of the leaving residence.
