Went over inventory with the Rep named Steven which was a tremendous help. I had a very big move but the thing that I noticed vs talking to other movers is Steven wanted to know everything in detail when other companies wanted to know just big items. The more in depth you get a more accurate quote. I added stuff on the day of pickup around 30 extra pieces which I knew I'd be charged for and expected. Service was very good, little bit of a delay getting it there but it was a long haul .

Do yourself a favor an d pay for a local or nationally known moving company. The salesperson I dealt with was nick. After initial payment he stopped answering the phone. Customer service is closed Friday to Sunday Day 5 of not having any furniture. They are a 3rd party contractor that uses INSTAMOVER. Another worthless company.

THEY REFUSED TO COME BACK AND I HAD TO FIND NEW MOVERS LAST MINUTE. TOTAL HORROR MOVIE. THERE EXCUSE WAS I HAD TO MUCH STUFF AND I REFUSED TO PAY. LIES ON TOP OF LIES!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.THEN THERE OPERATION MANAGER MOSHE FOGEL HAD A NERVE TO EMAIL ME TO TELL ME THERE EMPLOYEES DID NOTHING WRONG AND THAT IM LYING!! INSTEAD OF SAYING IM SORRY FOR MY EMPLOYESS ACTIONS. THIS COMPANY ARE LIERS. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM

So, the initial quote was around 1800. WE were't told they were a broker. we weren't told that they wouldn't be doing the move themselves. We made sure we ONLY had the movers who showed up move the items on Eagles's original list. Nothing more nothing less. The volume estimate by Eagle was wrong, and the movers wanted an additional $400. We lost contact with Eagle within a few days of the move. They would not return my calls or emails. The moving company took a week to finally let us know when they would deliver. When they did, they didn't have the weight slips we needed for reimbursement of our moving expense (We told them 3 times we needed this, as well as the moving company that actually showed up). I'm still hoping to get the weight slips. I'll update my review if I do. Just be aware of the lack of communication (i.e. ghosting), and expect a jump of 20% - 50% of their original estimate when the actual movers show up.

Like numerous other reviews have said, this company is a TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT USE. The way their business operates is that they provide you with a very low estimate, promise you that that's what you'll pay, and then once they show up and move your belongings, they tell you it will be MUCH more expensive because of b******* additional "costs and fees" hidden in your contract. Their quote was $1,800 and they charged $4,200. By the time informed us of the new price, they already had all the belongings in their truck, and it was 10pm at night, and they demanded that we pay half. Obviously, like so many others, we had to be out of the apartment and were left with no choice. Once it was delivered to the new house (late), they threatened to keep our belongings unless we paid the full rest of the amount. We have filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, the FTC (Bureau of Consumer Protection), and DC OAG's office, and we recommend others do the same. We are also pursuing legal action.
