Worst Experience of My Entire Life. They scam you by giving you a great price and then you don’t hear from them again until 2 days before the move when they call and DOUBLE your estimate. And because the move is 2 days away THEY WONT LET YOU CANCEL, THEY KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL DEPOSIT UNLESS YOU AGREE TO THE PRICE INCREASE. Stay as far away as you can.

We recently used Diamond Pro Van Lines for our cross country move. They are difficult to get ahold of once you have paid your deposit. They arrived several hours late, loading from 8 pm to 4 am. We paid for dish pack but the movers arrived with boxes only. They had to scrounge through their trucks to find newspaper to help cushion my glassware as all stores were closed at the late time. We were under the impression they were packing our kitchen items for us but they did not. This cost was refunded. Once loaded, they did arrive in a timely manner, however, several hours late again. They unloaded from 6 pm to 12 am. They trampled the landscaping, ripped a solid door stop out of the baseboard, pushed the doorknob through the drywall, and left 50% or more of our furniture with damage. For compensation for all of the damage, we were offered $300. Not enough to even cover the cost of the desk they damaged (shattered drawer and broken foot). Would NOT recommend using this company!

Absolutely scammers. Didn't even call me to tell me 'the truck broke down and it will be fixed in 3 days.' Then when I followed up with the (rude) staff, I was informed they are cancelling my order and retaining 10% of the $700 dollar deposit after a lengthy reimbursement process. Check their Better Business Bureau profile, they've been a company for a short period and had a TON of formal complains.

Complete scam artists. They will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to get you to sign a contract and will have zero intentions of keeping those promises. We signed a contract with Wendy who lied and told us that our stuff would be delivered within a week of pickup but could take up to 2 weeks max. It has been close to 2 months and we still don’t have our stuff. We have been forced to sleep on the floor this entire time. Both the moving brokers and the moving company have pulled a bait and switch. Sam/Samantha, the owner of this company, hired a Home Run Moving & Storage Inc to move our stuff for the out-of-state move. This moving company has only been in business for 2 months. All their reviews are negative with customers complaining of stolen and damaged items. One review said the movers were creepy. Wendy told us that they vetted all the moving companies. This is obviously another lie. The movers charged us double, forced us to hurry and finishing packing because they showed up several hours early, and one of them harassed my mother who is a Navy veteran. He left her a disturbing note saying he would treat her right and wanted to visit her in her home state. Sam was aware of this for 1.5 weeks before reporting it to the movers. She only did this after I brought it up multiple times. We doubt the company did anything because they are frauds. The movers have lied to us for weeks about when our stuff would leave CA. Weeks of being told to call again later for updates on when it would leave. It took 5 weeks to leave. It’s been close to 2 weeks and our stuff is still not here. They never called to inform us that it was loaded onto a truck. We called asking for an update. They then tried to bully me into paying the remaining balance before delivery, lied about payment options, and about federal laws. Furthermore, they lied to us about the delivery date now that it is 3 days overdue. They are now saying they can’t contact the driver. So what, the drive has gone rouge? Fantastic. They are playing games because they think this is funny to turn a family’s life upside down. Based on all the reviews of the moving company we believe there is a high probability that our stuff is stolen or damaged beyond repair. The last time I spoke to Sam she hung up on me. It had been 18 days since our items were picked up and the movers admitted they had no trucks leaving CA. We were justifiably upset by the deceptions and service we were receiving. She tried to start an argument by being passive aggressive and I was not letting her walk all over me. She told me she “wasn’t going to deal with this.” Since then I have been doing her job for her. Word of advice: someone with a temper should refrain from starting a business based on customer service. After this encounter I started looking more heavily into them. I discovered this company is less than 1 years old and already has 8 complaints filed under FMCSA. That is a MAJOR red flag. In addition, their legal business name is Clay Consulting Inc. and an apartment is listed as the business address. A house is listed as the business address for Diamond Pro Van Lines. This is all public information and I implore people to research them thoroughly. I will be making complaints to FMCSA, the FL State Attorney, and the Federal Trade Commission Consumer Report Center. For everyone else who has been scammed by them please consider making these formal complaints so that it is on permanent records and the right organizations are aware of their fraudulent business practices.
