I cannot endorse the services provided by Crown WMS based on my personal experience. It's not that I hold any animosity towards the company, but my own encounter with their services has left me dissatisfied. I engaged their services for a move on September 22nd, 2023. Prior to the move, my interactions with a lady named C. from Crown WMS were quite pleasant and helpful. We were moving within the same building, from the 5th floor to the 4th floor, both with 2-bedroom units. The task involved transporting 80 boxes along with furniture. On the morning of the 22nd, three movers arrived at 9 AM and departed at 3 PM. The issues began when they lacked the necessary tools to disassemble our bed, requiring me to do it myself and costing us valuable time. This situation repeated itself with our fridge, as I had to disassemble the door. The movers eventually completed the move, and I provided them with a tip for their efforts. Later that day, I had to leave for a work trip, returning on September 28th. Upon trying to sleep in our new place, I noticed that our bed felt unstable, much like being on a boat. A closer look revealed that the central railing was missing. On September 29th I promptly contacted the main mover, A., and also reached out to my contact at Crown WMS, C. A. responded with a text stating, "Everything should be there; we took everything apart and put it back where it should be." I informed him that this was not the case, but he did not respond further. I waited for an additional week, hoping for a resolution or response from either party, but none was forthcoming. This lack of communication is disconcerting, especially considering that A. and his team misplaced a critical component during the move and failed to disclose it when reassembling the bed. One would assume that handling king-size beds during moves is within their realm of expertise. However, their apparent lack of concern about the missing central rail, despite the presence of wooden pieces on each side of the bed to support it, suggests a preference for concealing their error rather than addressing it honestly. Consequently, I had to purchase a replacement central rail from Restoration Hardware. I provided them with a photograph to illustrate how perplexing it was to misplace such a long and straightforward component during a move from the 5th to the 4th floor. The $150 tip I gave them was undeserved due to their lack of transparency and honesty. Furthermore, I incurred expenses for a box that was never used for the king-size mattress and additional charges for boxing and unboxing services that were not performed. Additionally, I had to spend $160 on a central rail and a foot that Crown WMS had lost. It's worth noting the time I invested in disassembling my own bed and removing the fridge door because the movers did not have the necessary tools. I reached out to my contact at Crown WMS, C again on October 6th asking them to find a solution with their company and not a word since….
