I gave them 1 star because 0 wasn't an option. And to be fair, the TWO guys that came to move our 4br house were rockstars. They deserve to work for a much better company. Cavalier moving is well named--that's the attitude they took towards our move. TWO guys. A 2100+ sq foot house. TWO. and a truck that was too small to hold everything. The guy who booked the move told us it would be three guys--that was a lie. Cavalier would have had to pay a third guy, and the move would have been faster, so they wouldn't have made as much money. Don't even try to deny that, Cavalier. They didn't bother sending someone out to survey--that would cost them money. They didn't ask for pictures or anything. Just asked questions on the phone. Estimated a 4hr move. Really? You have superman on the payroll? 12 hours later, the truck is finally empty at our new place. Not ALL our stuff, mind you. No, my husband and I will have to find other help for that. Of course, Cavalier is THRILLED. its an hourly cost--not flat rate. And when i talk to the manager to complain, he says, "oh a third guy wouldn't have made that big of a difference in time." I guess the third guy just stands around and tells everyone what to do. Kind of like the guy I talked to. He was SO sorry I wasn't happy. Yeah, right. NEVER EVER do business with this company. The management is crap, they under estimate the move by a LOT to hook you, then make you pay thru the nose at the end. And you DO pay, or they WILL call the cops. The 10% "discount" management offered me was a lot like Oliver asking for more.
