Their salesman Scott was very on top of things and gave a fair quote. Our plans changed about 2 weeks after signing the contract and I notified Scott on or about July 7, 2019 and I notified his office contact Dawn Wade via email shortly after that. I requested a refund of our $2000 deposit; it was 3 weeks before our move date and well within the terms of the contract to receive a full refund. It's now Oct 28th, 2019 and after 23 phone calls, most went to voice mail, 15 emails, one of which promised my refund in 3 to 5 business days, I still haven't been paid. I've been told several times, the "checks in the mail" but they can't give me any details about the check since "Cindy" in accounting has either been in a meeting with management, out sick personally, out with a sick child, or the phone, 11 times. She has ignored at least 4 emails request from me on status. There's never any "management" around when I call, except one time Dawn accidentally transferred me to the Operations Director Todd, may not have the name exactly right he spoke quickly, who, after hearing part of my story started saying "I don't have anything to do with that", "that's not my job or problem" and finally just plain old hung up on me. If I could give no stars, that is exactly what I would do.
California Relocation Systems made the entire process easy, and for that alone I am very grateful. The estimate was straightforward and made perfect sense, the estimators did their best to determine the size of the move and the movers themselves calculated the actual size of the move which was about 20% more but Tamer was very through with me and helped me understand how I was being charged. He helped me out with some of my precious antiques to make sure nothing happened them. I bought all of them dinner. I have never seen guys so grateful for pizza! They were all so nice. All of our belongings arrived in the given time window and everything had shown up as promised. We’re all relieved to have this done and over with, time to settle in to our new lives at home, work and school. I can’t complain about the final price and given that and how stress free the entire process was I’d certainly use them again in the future.
This moving process was handled much more smoothly than I was anticipating. I really have nothing negative to say about this moving company. They did everything they promised and in my opinion a bit more than average. Definitely deserve a recommendation.
