Axis Van Lines were on time and beyond expeditious. They were able to load the truck very quickly and also did a good job taking apart and assembling my furniture - really grateful for that because I just didn't have time to do it. They also didn't putz around with driving to other location - they some how managed to arrive the same time I did, impressive given how quickly I was driving we left at the same time. I mistakenly told them put something heavy in the wrong room, they were really nice about moving it again even as we were signing. This is the second time I've used Axis Van Lines, and plan to use them again for my next move as my last experience was similar. Great job.
I was given an estimate of around 7 hours but since it would be four guys likely less. Well they arrived early in the scheduled window and were done in around 5 hours which was great. Since I was moving from IL to one of the outer burbs I thought we might use the whole 7 hours. The movers themselves were insanely fast. They got in and immediately started taking boxes down from my third floor apartment. When it came to furniture I was explicit that they be extra careful as the landlord just repainted the whole interior stairwell and all the doors have glass on them. Well after they were done I did an inspection and couldn’t find a single scratch in the paint. At my new place again, they were quick and careful. They put everything where I asked and didn’t leave a mess. Well worth every penny spent.
