I will not use American Relocation & Storage Services ever again. I would not be able to recommend them to others either. Main reason was bad communication once we got close to loading day. Communication at the beginning as we were shopping for a mover was good. It went down hill from there once we paid the deposit. What we were told and agreed to, about the move and the pricing was one price, then we had the planning call a couple days prior to our load day in CA. Prior to loading day we sent pictures and agreed on the cubic feet which was signifintly less than their minimal set move. At this point of the mystery process, we were all on the same page of agreed upon cost. On the load day, when movers arrived we were told there would be an additional $600.00 that would need to be paid along with half of the balance of the estimate balance. The only additional item was a 26 inch size suitcase. No additional cubic feet were added. So our moving services agreement for $1953.25, once delivered the cost had jumped to $2648.50. An extremely shade business, once they had the deposit the service level was not acceptable. Lesson learned, never use again.
Filled a semi just about, moved my business and my house hold together. One of the most stressful times in my life and American made it easy and as stress free as possible. Loading took 7 hours delivery took 6 days. No damages, no complaints. Will be using for my sons move next month and god forbid I ever move again will definitely use for my future moves!

These people are incredibly straightforward. They walk me through the entire process from the initial booking to the pick up and then delivery my items one of the easiest moves I’ve ever done.
