When my company moved states, they gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse to stay with them. I had to leave sooner than I could get prepared for myself, so I called American Long Distance Moving. They were already helping with the corporate move and they gave me a great rate on my residential.
Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about packing and moving across states. I called American Long Distance Moving and Storage to help with the harder stuff. It was so great to be able to focus on other things while they took care of the physical move.
Though what we ended up paying did not match our initial estimate, I can’t ding them too badly. Granted more consideration should have been placed into our original estimate because when the movers actually arrived, additional costs were uncovered due to some sizing requirements. We did not end up paying that much more than expected but we were slightly disappointed. All that said the move did go well.
OK, to be fair our move was a bit complicated and took a lot of coordination. However we did wait an inordinate amount of time for the customer service department to get back to us with some viable options for our requirements. Once they did, we were quite happy with the services they found for us.
I’ll start by making it clear that our office was relocated successfully and in a timely manner. That said overall communication could have been better. We would have preferred to have a dedicated rep throughout the process rather than have to speak to multiple people and re-explain ourselves each time we needed to call. I will end though by reiterating that they did successfully move us. We were satisfied but could have been more satisfied.
