Alpine Van Lines

They came and picked up our things on October 14, 2021. It is now December 20, 2021 and we still do not received our house hold things. The two numbers we have at the top of our contract do not work. And the broker is horrible ever also!!! We just want our things!!! We have things that can’t be replaced.

WORST COMPANY EVER! Their employee called me the N WORD and the manager that was standing right there did nothing about it. They tried to play it off like we didn't watch them dump our wooden head board out of the back of the truck, damaging it. They picked up our stuff on 5/9/21 and didn't deliver until 8/24/21... Alpine van lines are a joke and the owners will tell you the same song and dance for MONTHS! I had to have Denver PD call them and ask where my stuff was. absolutely pathetic excuse of a company. Just rent a truck and move it yourself. way way less frustrating.

Our household items still have NOT been delivered! We went through the moving broker who gave us a quote on what the move would cost by going over a detailed list of items in our 1100 sq ft home in Colorado. I emphasized to the man during the completion of the quote that our 300 sq ft detached single-car garage was full, and he stated that he included those items on our quote of just around $8k. On the day of pick up, the moving company, Alpine Van lines (the phone message states Sunrise Van lines when you call), increased our moving costs by approx. $10,000 because they stated we had more "bulky" items than on the original quote, and there was an addition 300 cu ft to account for. The broker then also added $1000 for these "bulky" items and 60 additional boxes. We were told the bulky items were items such as the 7 bicycles; Note these were on the original quote. Besides the horrendous overcharging, Alpine Van Lines does not answer the phone when called or return any voicemails. When we finally were able to get someone on the phone to get an update on our items, J***, supposedly a supervisor, stated he had lost drivers to Covid, not to mention we lived in a very remote area so getting a truck up there was difficult, then had the nerve to say thank you for your patience, and for us to call and speak with him when we call because he is working hard to get us moved. He even stated at one point that he would have to find other movers to complete our move and that "don't worry" he would pay for it; after holding our belongings for over a month! He went on to state we would still owe the remaining balance upon delivery even though it has been delayed this long. Our items were picked up 3/8/2021 and scheduled for delivery 3/26/2021. As of today we have no update on the status of our belongings, as the company will not answer the phone or return voicemails. I have called Alpine several times per day looking for an update; leaving multiple voicemails. I have requested the address several times of the facility where our household are being stored so we can make new moving arrangements, Alpine refuses to divulge the address. I have contacted the broker to obtain the same information and they state that Alpine will not divulge the storage address to them either. Alpine moving company still has not completed our move and has breeched on the agreed contract.
