I went with A one van lines because they seemed honest and straight-forward from the very beginning. I requested several quotes from different moving companies and some of them seemed shady and suspicious. Luckily, my experience with this moving company was more than positive. At this point I cannot say enough good things about their professional attitude. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were very important factors while I was deciding which company to hire. The best thing is that I made a good choice, they handled my items perfectly and ensured my items were safe during the transport.
Wanted to share my experience I had with A One Van Lines. I moved a few weeks ago from Brooklyn to Buffalo. The movers were quick during pick up, and professional. They were also efficient and well prepared regarding packing supplies. The movers made a list and went through it item by item (organization is key). I am grateful that they were able to make room a some extra items that I came across in the basement that were not listed. The delivery only took about a week and a half. I though it was going to take five days, but they did keep me informed, which was nice.
When looking for prices in the Long Island area, I came across many companies. I probably got thirty calls that first day I put my information in. I was mostly worried about the price/quote and not so much worried about the time it would take for me to get my items. I know how moving works, I have friends in the industry. Most of the time, you need to compromise. Surprisingly, I did not have to do that with A One Van Lines. They did a great job with my move.
