Adams Van Lines

We had a very great pickup from Adams Van Lines. The driver kept us up to date and delivered promptly. Highly recommended to all.

The worst service ever.  My husband and I shopped around to move our (2) bedroom home into a larger (3 )bedroom home across the country from IL to CA.   We ended up donating a lot of our nice things to charity and then decided to hire Adams Van Lines due to the reviews we read.  Once we agreed to move with them things went downhill quickly and our "Moving Coordinator, Sales Rep, disappeared"  The move was sold to another company we never heard of who had a very small truck.  The movers that came to our home were not equipped and charged us more without moving all of our items.   When we contacted customer service multiple times around the 21 day mark we were told  #1 Everything was on track #2 The items haven't left the original locations (in our original state's warehouse IL), at this point point we again scratched our heads and panicked #3  We then received a call, within a few days, our things would be delivered on a Sunday night at 8pm to our new home in our new state by the movers not Adams Van Lines, who apparently had no clue what was going on with our items and where they were. The delivery showed up 1:30pm the next day stating the whole time our things were in our state CA,  not the previous warehouse in another state. IL which we were told by customer service at Adams Van Lines days before. This was the most stressful move both my husband and I have ever had. It wasn't the least expensive and I really wish we had picked someone else. Customer Service dumps you after your first payment.  Some of our things did arrive, damaged which we will pay out our pocket to not have to deal with this company ever again. I can't wait to see what the company's response will be as we bet it's not honest.

Horrible experience from start to finish! They will make all sorts of promises when getting your business. Then hire another party in our case Delta movers for the move. If you reach back to Adam vanlines their reps give false information like “your things are on the way out of state” while they haven’t left the warehouse. The movers they contract with called Delta movers broke our furniture, damaged all our boxes, caused water damage to our mattress. To top it off if you ask for refund their dispatcher threatens you by saying it can get dirty and we can call the cops!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This was the absolute worst moving experience of my life, and I move A LOT! I recently relocated from Utah to Nashville, TN and this was the move from hell! They started off great, everyone was friendly and helpful, but as the move progressed, a move that was supposed to take two weeks ended up taking a month. The carriers kept having "unexpected difficulties" with their trucks. The trucks broke down two times, a driver had a family emergency so they had to find a new driver. The list of excuses goes on and on. Their customer service people were all the most rude and unhelpful people that I've ever dealt with. When I called for updates and tracking information they would either not answer the phone or they would hang up on me, and this happened multiple times. When I needed to get a hold of them they would send me to an answering service that only took messages and then they would never call me back. Once I threatened to take legal action they became apologetic and still didn't change their behavior towards me. One driver even chose to call me a "fucking liar" when I told him I was missing boxes from my original pickup. When they came to pick up my things the driver didn't have any of the proper paperwork, he didn't have stickers to label my things, he didn't even have a bill of lading. I was told that they took my things to a warehouse and did the inventory there. WHO DOES THAT?? Clearly they can't count because I know what what my belongings are (like I said, I move a lot). When the driver got to my house, he was more interested in asking me where the nearest dispensary was because he wanted to buy edibles to take back to Seattle with him instead of focusing on making sure I had all of my belongings. They even went as far as to to try and take payment from Zelle instead of a credit card or a money order. They were very unprofessional. The carrier was Front Door Moving. Try and look them up, bet you can't find anything on their company. It was literally a guy and a rented Penske truck that showed up to my door. I will never use this company again and will be taking full legal action against them to get every single penny that I paid back from them. This is not how you do business and not how I planned on starting my new life in my new city. TERRIBLE COMPANY!

I used Adams van lines 3 weeks ago and I’m happy to say that they made move my stress free. I needed a good over to move me from FL to NY. I am a musician; I have many expensive and valuable instruments. So I was very picky about whom to pick. A saw online that Adams van lines is one of the best and went with them. The crew was great. The very carefully packed my belongings and took even extra care of my instruments. I'm happy that I chose them because they did a great job. No problems in any ends.
