I just recently moved from Lafayette Louisiana to Strasburg Virginia with Household Logistics and had an amazing experience from start to finish. I was wary at first due to some of the negative reviews but my representative was open and honest throughout the process and due to the fact that moving can have a lot of variables and things can potentially not work out for everyone for my experience personally everything went very well! I had a pickup at my apartment complex that required Household Logistics proof of insurance in order to reserve my elevator for my move and they ensured that everything was set up for that to happen. The movers were very polite and did a great job wrapping all my furniture and upon delivery they even setup my bed frames and head boards in my kids rooms! I would highly recommend Household Logistics to anyone moving long distance. Thank you!
I have nothing but good things to say about this company, they were with me the whole way from start to finish. Yes they are a broker and the company that they told me was going to be servicing my move was amazing aswell. Very respectful and hard working gentlemen. I definitely recommend this company. I feel the horror stories of prices changing come from the customers not being honest about what they are moving, and leaving alot of inventory off of the list. My price DID NOT change at all.
I have moved many times for the military over the course of my service always utilizing the contracted company provided. This was my first time having to not only pay for a move myself but also to search for and set up my own moving service and I am very happy with the results! Household Logistics really pulled through last minute to be able to move my move date up to an earlier pickup date and I am extremely satisfied with the service they have provided from start to finish. I needed some additional packing done as some of the boxes in my garage had started to deteriorate and they provided the extra boxes to re-pack some of those! I feel that I am very happy with the results and the team over at Household Logistics and I would recommenced them to anyone looking to move!
This was my second time using an interstate full service moving company. The last time was about 20 years ago. A lot have things have changed in the moving industry it seems like. I must have gotten 7 quotes from different companies. Some of them suspiciously high, others absurdly high. Household Logistics came right in at the middle. They were able to save me a lot of money while making sure we overestimated on the volume needed for the move. Pick up day went smooth, the driver was on time and the helpers were very cautious with my antiques . Delivery time only took 2 days and we actually ended up paying less than what was originally estimated. Hopefully I dont have to move again in my lifetime but if I do, I know who to call.
This was my first time using a company to move me and at first I was apprehensive. We have a 4 bedroom home and a lot of antiques that have more sentimental value than anything else. I heard a lot about scam moving companies so I made sure to do extensive research. Household Logistics wasn't the cheapest but I've always believed that you get what you pay for. All of our fragile items were expertly wrapped and transported safely in the same condition as they were on pick up. Delivery was exactly what they told me which was 7 days. Very grateful to see companies still doing good business in the moving industry.
