From the first phone call till the end of the move – General moving & storage did everything possible to satisfy me. Their sales rep is a gem. He offered the best possible deal, estimator was very precise in his estimate and the foreman and his crew gave their best in packing, moving and unloading. I received all my valuables in great condition and the moving time was a lot less than what I was anticipating. It was more than a surprise to move to another state without any damage and within the estimated amount!! I am sure that I will be using this company whenever I need any moving services.
I found General moving & storage to deliver a solid moving experience at a price that can best be termed as cheap. They handled my move in such a professional manner. They arrived early, packed everything with great care and loaded all my belongings onto the vans with caution. The best part was that they charged me very reasonably. Their initial estimate wasn’t too high to begin with. The final bill came very close to it and I was just so happy.
I have opened a new branch of my shop in Columbus, OH so I had to move some of the things for the shop from Pompano Beach, FL. Many of my friends have hired General moving & storage and not only because they referred me their name but also for the fair they were offering made me go for them. And no doubt I’m happy with their job very much. They were on time, very organized and real professionals. I just loved them.
I filled out a few online quotes and it seemed the whole world got my info. Anyway, I chose General Moving & Storage. I originally spoke with Jeff, nice guy. We went over everything and got a base quote. Seemed reasonable, so we chose General Moving and booked the move. The original quote was for household items and a vehicle. It was to be done by two different movers. The car delivery went great, super nice guy came and got it and delivered it a week later, no issues. As far as the we had some heavy furniture so I was worried but they managed everything nicely. I did have them pack up my china cabinet to assure it was done correctly They took great care of my belongings and all my furniture arrived safely the delivery was a few days longer than originally told I spoke with Nicole the dispatch manager she gave me $100 refund for the inconvenience of having to stay in a hotel longer besides that everything was great. i would definitely recommend General Moving & Storage
