I had a great experience with Eden's Moving. I originally paid for 2 hours but the crew they sent out worked a lot quicker than I expected and ended up finishing earlier. The crew knew this information ahead of time and wanted to make sure I did not have to pay anything additional. They did not try to work slow to add more cost and I really appreciated that. They took care of all of my items by carefully wrapping the larger items and properly packing the smaller items. Their communication was 5 stars all around. I was updated throughout the trip and I knew exactly when to expect them at my delivery end. Anytime I had questions, they promptly responded and made sure I was followed up with. Thank you very much for the terrific experience.
We moved from Colorado to Virginia and Eden's Moving was really good. They came to pack up our items and worked fast but still packed everything with care. They were polite and friendly unlike the delivery crew. We had an issue with one of the workers who did not appear the least bit concerned with our household goods. A few items arrived damaged and he showed NO compassion. They also damaged our walls in the new home when they were moving some of the larger items. I contacted their customer service office and they guided me in filing a claim for these issues. They sent out a company who repaired our walls, free of charge and we received compensation for the damages to our items. We also received a follow up call from their manager who explained that worker had been terminated and he offered us a credit for a move in the future. We would use them again as the majority of them honestly cared about our stuff and they worked hard to fix the issues we had.
I had the most surreal experience with this move. It was ‘eh’ setting it up. Quite a grueling experience if you ask me. I had to go over every item that I needed to move with someone over the phone. It took, in total, about three hours. I have a decent sized house. What really got me is the men that came to move my stuff. I would think they would be better off at an HR department of a company. Very, very kind and helpful. I bought them lunch when they were about an hour in of packing (before all the kitchen was packed). Not only did we have great conversations, but they helped me clean after as well! The whole moving process took about two weeks. Cost me right around $6400. Took them 7 hours to pack and load and 5.5 to unload and set the furniture.
