This is a horrible company. We used them for a move from Colorado to North Carolina. They are a broker not a full-service moving company. They represent themselves as a full-service moving company. Their role as broker is buried in the small print of the contract. We booked and were quoted for a partial pack move. They did not tell the contracted moving company that we paid for a partial pack. The moving company showed up on moving day (with no prior call or notice after we were told they would contact us 24 hrs prior to move day) expecting to load boxes and furniture. They did not have the proper packing materials. Our items were not properly packed or protected. Many pieces of framed art were destroyed along with two TVs. Many pieces of furniture were damaged. We were told our items would be put on a large truck and would not be transferred to any other trucks. This is not what happened. The movers showed up in a small box truck. They told us our items would be transferred to a larger truck and then sent to NC. We had multiple items not show up in NC. The company has not found the missing items and I doubt we will ever see them again. The moving foreman showed up at our house in Colorado stoned. The delivery team tried to give us lamps that did not belong to us. They also had to come back a second time with our expensive mountain bikes that were left at the warehouse. We did not receive an invoice from the team that picked up our items until after 9pm. Then the stoned guy kept texted me late at night wanting me to Venmo almost 2K to some random dude that supposedly owned the moving company (Vadim Ivankov with ITX / front door moving). I had never heard of ITX/Front Door Moving. It was all very bizarre and complete unacceptable. American Moving Solutions is at best a joke and at worst a scam. Do not use this company if you value your belongings.
They loaded and unloaded everything efficiently and safely. Best moving crew!
