Best 4 U moving

I was warned not to arrange my move with a broker and unfortunately I did not listen. The broker (Nationwide Moving Services stuck me with Best for You and it was a disaster. They packed my stuff poorly and lied to me constantly about the status of my move. I paid extra to get the delivery expedited and they failed to make the promised date. Worst of all they assigned my move to a company called GOR Trucking who delivered my goods in a broken down horse trailer pulled by a equally broken down pickup truck. The two "movers" were totally unqualified and unprofessional. The crushed most of my boxes and refused to reassemble my living room and study furniture and desk leaving it to me to unpack the glass tops and haul them into my house from the garage where they were left in a pile. When I tried to complain to "management" I was initially told my complaints were unfounded and eventually they stopped answering my calls. This company is as bad as it gets so don't be fooled by the lure of a lower price. With Best For You it is really true that you get whet you pay for i.e., NOTHING BUT TERRIBLE SERVICE. If this helps just one person to stay away I am satisfied.

Said they’d arrive June 1st but never did. Kept calling and they kept telling us a new arrival date and saying they’d call back but never did. Finally got items August 23rd. My boxes were falling apart, jewelry stolen, pictures damaged, and furniture damaged. Don’t even want to open the few boxes still intact to see what else is damaged. Can’t believe they’re still in business

If i could rate lower than a 1 i would. Between modest movers ad best 4 u it has been a total nightmare. We had them pick up our belongings on 5/6/2022. They said they were delivering 5/13. Not true we didnt get delivery until june 19. We had to fly up twice and extend our stay multiple times. It cost us thousands of extra dollars. When delivery got there we were missing 6 boxes a kitchenaide mixer and a hand painted antique chair. When i contacted modest movers they would not give me movers number or email. Finally got the number and they never pickup just text or blow you off with automated message. He texted he would check warehouse but no response as of yet. Again do not use these people the are terrible and scammers.

The first movers in FL. Showed up 3 hours late, didn't have tools to take furnature apart, truck wasn't large enough to haul all my goods so thousands of dollars in tools, furnature,tv stand, etc was left behind and they broke my 50 y/o china cabinet. Got a call from Detective in California as he pulled over moving van and 2 men were trying to break into my cash box. After more investigation, they stole my laptop. I made many calls trying to track down my home goods as the driver in California was being held for petty theft and his 4th DUI, for which I got a subpoena to go to court! Long story short, finally got some of my stuff but my prized 50 gallon crock was smashed to bits, furnature missing, broken. Am writing this before I call the owner. On another note, don't use VAN LINES INC. out of Ft.Lauterdale, Fl.as the contract moving companies without doing background checks.

The MOST horrible experience ever. PLEASE BEWARE!!! Zero communication after they take your money. Took a month and half to deliver, once they delivered it cost me another 1800.00 over charge. Total crooks!!! Broken items and missing items..
