I contracted with US Pro Moving and 36 hours before we have to be out of our house West Coast Relocation shows up. The Driver wants to review what is to be moved and he raised the price by 50%/$1,500. I showed the driver the exact cubic foot using the measuring tape to no avail. His reply is if we want to we can find ourself another mover. My wife was on the phone to US Pro questioning them to find out that West Coast will not stand by their quote.
After our goods were delivered I wrote a Yelp review notating the damage to our house during the delivery and the exorbitant price increase. Within several days I received a call from a person representing the new company that purchased West Coast. A couple of weeks later another communication from another representative noting that I had to wait for the corrective action that has never happened. I believe, due to Yelp reviews, that the company has not changed hands.
Needless to say anyone considering West Coast Relocation should read the Yelp and Better Business Review prior to signing an agreement with West Coast. You do not want the nightmare I and many others as myself have experienced. I have also filed with the BBB and am seeking other legal action.
