US MOVING AND STORAGE LLC

First of all they are brokers not movers. The price they quoted was totally different from what the movers told us when they arrived. Communication was great until they got their non-refundable deposit. The service covered insurance, few items broke during the move, we filed the claim but no response. I could go on and on about every frustration we went thru but to save time I would just say DONOT use them. The movers "Jackson Movers" were great and very helpful.

DO NOT!!! I repeat DO NOT use this company at all!! They are brokers and not movers and when they give you a quote it’s nowhere close to what the movers are gonna quote you once they show up to your place! In our case they tried to double the price even though there was no discrepancy or difference in what was being moved in the quote. Because we didn’t agree to the new price they are trying to hold onto our security deposit because “we refused service”!! This company is nothing more than a scam. DO NOT USE THEM!!

I am not sure how they have 1.84 stars! I would select Zero STARS if poss . Most unethical company I have ever delt with. WORST OF THE WORST. Everything I was quoted and told were lies. BOBBY Mc CORRY MY SALES REP IS A SLIME. I called many companies that easily quoted my 3bdrm house with appliances and much garage storage. All were $16-18,000. I could not afford that. So back to the original plan with Uber Freight. Then BOBBY called to bid it. He said $5600. When asked how so low, he said they had a completely different business model. And they would pick up more one the way to fill the semi. He also assured me over and over that it would go point A to point B and not unloaded. I was very concerned of that as being in the furniture business I know damage /breakage occur with every move. My stuff was transferred multiple time. I have so much breakage, damage and missing items. There were no partitions in the truck between different customers goods as Bobby assured me. Weeks later on a Fri night, when the move was schedueld for Mon am, the quote changed to over $11,000. Nothing could be done about it. Then Monday am it changed to over $17000. I was s****** at that point. And I am now flat broke. I had to move. There was no way to change anything over the weekend and lose deposit money as well. BOBBY said he would be my rep until my goods got to my new house. He never answered the phone or returned my calls after I paid the deposit. Called the company multiple times. They rarely answer. When I finally did get a lady on the phone, she was defensive and abrasive. I asked to speak to a manager or owner. She refused and said she was a supervisor. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST.

They gave me a quote for 2500 and 3 days before moving they called and bumped up the price to ~4000$. They keep saying the “deposit” is non refundable but not saying they increased the price. Unfortunately, the review system does not have negative numbers.

I was in the military for 11 years, so I moved a lot. Never have I had as awful of a moving experience as I had with this company. To start they left items off the initial inventory that I told them I had, therefore providing a lower quote that sounds enticing. Then they give you an additional discount while you're on the phone with them for instant booking, rushing you through the review so you don't notice the little things or the items they left off of the inventory. Then they call you three days later to verify your inventory, when updated you now owe significantly more money than the original estimate. BUT at this point you can't cancel or you will lose the deposit that you gave them so you have to pay them more. They picked up outside of the contractual window, in my case, after I had already closed on the sale of my home. The carriers operate outside of the broker's hours so if you have an issue you can't contact the broker. So I called and l left numerous voicemails, none of which were ever returned. The broker wouldn't do anything for the late pickup and went so far as to tell me that I didn't inform them. I told them to pull the voicemails and recorded calls and I was told that's such a process and you have to put in a request with IT, etc., so they wouldn't do it. Why bother recording the calls, I'm sure if the discrepancy went the other direction they would've had the recording pulled up in no time. The carrier showed up and expected me to sign three blank contracts. As we were working through them I had questions on one. At this point they had already moved about half of my items to the curb, when I started asking questions about the contract they told me to sign it or they were leaving and all of the items on the curb were being left and it would be my responsibility to move them back into my house. Textbook coercion. I had a 250 mile move and it took 27 days to be delivered. The broker or the carrier refused to provide accurate updates, if any at all. The carrier went so far as to hang up on my the moment I said status and then blocked my number so I couldn't contact them at all. The broker failed to provide a list, or make a list available through their website of all of the carriers that they use along with their DOT and MC numbers. I'm not sure about the other carriers that they use, but the one I got stuck with has an F rating with the BBB. I would imagine that most of their carriers are similar. The contract for the carrier said US Pro Movers but the DOT number provided was for a different company named Lamar Moving. I filed a fraud claim with my bank, which was awarded in my favor, because, well, these guys are fraudulent. They told me I had to reverse the chargeback or they would not deliver my items and that they would auction them off textbook coercion. I finally got my goods delivered, some of them damaged, after having an attorney call them several times and filing a police report. I also filed reports with the BBB, AG, and DOT. These guys can't even deliver on a promise or deliver on broken promises.
