Awful experience. Avoid them at all costs. They've engaged in borderline criminal behavior: e.g., moving my belongings into the street in order to coerce my agreement to their contract, holding my belongings hostage for several months, contracting out the delivery to a different company without my knowledge or consent, etc. Many of my belonging were damaged. Some went missing. And I now have the broken pieces of someone's father's model train set. The crew that delivered my belongings drove their truck into oncoming traffic, carelessly tossed my stuff off the truck, and drove away without allowing me to complete an inspection of the items. They were physically threatening. I'm pretty sure one of them was on drugs. Trig currently isn't licensed to do this kind of work. It's not a mystery why. Stay far away from them. (Trig is registered to Yossi Malul (email: [email protected]), who owns several other business. I imagine it would be wise to avoid those as well.)

We relocated from California to Texas in Jan, 2021. We contacted a broker perennial van lines and they assigned Trig moving to our house on the moving date. Then the whole things became a disaster: - We were quoted that the moving cost would be around $4900 based on an detailed item list, however, after trig moving loaded everything on their truck, they gave me a invoice of $11,527.52. They said they charge by the space(they spread out our stuffs in stead of stack them up, of course it took much more space). - We were quoted that the moving would take about 5 to 10 days, however, it took 16 days for our furniture to arrive. - Upon the delivery, their driver called me and said that the streets in our apartment complex were too small for him to enter in, and we would have to pay another $900 to rent a shuttle, However, our apartment management office said that our streets are wide enough for their truck coming in, other tenants often have the same size of truck coming in for moving. - when the movers unloaded our belongings, some of them lift up boxes and put them upside down, disregard the "fragile" sign on the boxes, which of course caused many of glass items broken. - We also found that they mixed a desk that didn't belong to us with our furniture, we told the mover and returned it. - We only had very few furniture, however, 90% of them were broken. - We also had two large boxes missing - after talking to Trig customer service, they advice me to make a claim with the insurance company. On 07/26/21, the insurance company told us that the missing items are not covered, they suggest us to contact Trig again to locate them. They also sent my insurance compensation(60 cents per pound) for the broken items, a check of $87 to trig on 6/10/21, and trig should have already deliver the check to us - I called trig customer service, a male representative said that on my file that it showed no records that they need to send me a check. He would check with the billing department and let them get back to me. However, when I asked if they could try to find my missing item, he became very impatient, and still repeat that " I will check with billing department". I said" but isn't it a different issue, I don't think it's billing department's job to find my missing item", he repeated again" I will check with the billing department" then hang up my phone regardless I was saying "wait a minute". - I can't believe a customer service person would hang up on a customer like that, so I called right back. A woman whose name is "Jackie"? answered. After I explained what just happened, and requested to talk to the previous guy again(I didn't catch his name at the first place), she said" hold on a minute, let me talk to him DIRECTLY". Then she put me on hold for two minutes, then back to the phone. When she came back, she wasn't as nice as before, she denied my request to talk to the other guy, she said because she didn't know who I talked to early, but didn't she just said that she would talk to him DIRECTLY two minutes ago? when I requested to talk to the supervisor, she refused again, she said they are all very busy now and the supervisor wouldn't have time to talk to me. She said she would call me back later after checking with my insurance compensation payment, then she did not call back at all.

Honestly I wish I didn't have to write this review, but I truly wouldn't want anybody to go through the same experience that I did. I moved from Southern California to Denver, CO. A move that I was told time and time again by representatives would take 3-5 days, I was sold. Of course after I signed it then turned into an expected 7-14 days before my belongings would be delivered to me. Upon pick up, somehow my belongings grew by 50% of the square footage estimate that was very detailed which caused my cost to grow by around $600. I was also told, as was in my contract, that the first flight of stairs was included in my move which worked out perfectly as I was on the second floor of an apartment complex. However upon pick up of my belongings, I was hit with an additional $200 fee as "one flight of stairs counts as 7 stairs" according to them. I don't know about you, but I have never seen a flight of stairs that short. But I was just happy to get things moving. Then the waiting game began. 7 days passed, and then 12, and finally on the 14th day I called and my belongings hadn't even left their storage facility in Los Angeles. My bed, my furniture, everything has just been sitting there. That is except for one box that somehow got sent to a man in Seattle who had to find me on Facebook and message me about it. And to make matters worse, the company offered no solution to get my box back to me and I had to pay out of pocket for the man to send it to me via USPS. So I keep waiting. Finally on another call I am told that per their contract they have 30 days to complete the delivery, and not just 30 days, 30 business days. 3 weeks go by, 4 weeks, 5 weeks, finally 6 weeks after pick up my belongings were delivered (minus the one box that was sent to Seattle), A lamp was broken along with my entire dresser that was busted. And you may be thinking "well that's what the insurance in your contract is for." Unless you have your physical receipts from purchase, you aren't getting a cent for your belongings. I can't tell you how many times I was told "let me find out for you and call you back" by a representative on the phone and not a single time actually received a call back. This company is a total scam. It may seem like a good deal upon first look, but my move took a month and a half, cost me $1,000 more than the initial estimate, plus the cost of a new dresser and shipping of my own belongings from Seattle. Do. Not. Use. This. Company.

Pros: Not a single one. Cons: This place is a mess and has given me the most insanely stressful move (California to NYC). I honestly have no idea where to begin but the TLDR is to not use them, they are absolute trash. Days leading up to the delivery the Movers called and quoted me at a much higher amount than I was quoted by Trig... almost double to be exact. I had to call NUMEROUS times to get this figured out, the CS Manager said he would call me back and never did and my move was scheduled for the next day. EXCELLENT Job (insert seething sarcasm)... Finally moving day - I contacted the Customer Service Team numerous times to advise I would give them a NEW address for delivery since my initial apartment didn't work out. I confirmed with Lily a few times and thought all was handled. Guess who got a call on the delivery date from the crew saying they were at the wrong address? When the Movers FINALLY arrived they told me I needed to pay in cash. Ummmm what? Who has $600 bucks of cash just laying around? So off I went on a 30-minute walk to find a Chase open amid the COVID-19 shutdown. I come back to the moving truck to see the door WIDE open with all my stuff sitting in there and not ONE person watching my stuff. WTF?!?!?! I sent a message to the Company and all they could respond with was a SMH Emoji. Thanks so much for your giving a hoot! Once all my stuff was brought up to my apartment the Mover tells me he won't put my bed together because the company didn't take it apart. I had to call Trig freaking out for the guy to finally give in and just help me for 10 mins to slap it together. I have genuinely never been so over a move in my entire life and I would NEVER recommend this company - not even to my worst enemy. That's how much stress they have caused me. So I guess thanks so much to the bunch of ABSOLUTE bananas at Trig that made my life a living hell from the moment I handed over $90 to hold my move to the moment I handed over $600 for the movers to get out of my apartment. Oh also - word to the wise they are not open on the weekends. Can you believe it a moving company not open on the weekend? So if you have an issue... no one is there to answer you. Awesome right? Super excited to unpack and see if things are broken or not.
