We are in the process of moving to GA from AZ. The move was organized by Purple Heart Movers but executed through SNY Relocation Systems. Communication and Moving estimate with Purple Heart rather difficult and very spare. The estimate didn't come close to the actual moving cost although we provided a very exact list of items with measurements, numbers of boxes etc. The workers from SNY (Matt and Cody) were able to give a real estimate, worked very thorough, careful and quick. We are now waiting for them to give us a delivery date...of course we hope it will be close to our target date. If they manage to do that I will give them 5 stars. For now it is 4...

Don't believe the low ball price this company & the gentle young woman who initially gives it to you tells you; once you've packed up your life and the young movers come to haul it away (where it will likely sit for a number of weeks while they find someone going to where you want to go who will do the actual move - in my case 6 weeks longer!) the price you were initially given will be doubled! At least that's what happened to me. This practice, I've heard, isn't uncommon within the business. But if you're on a budget and not 'someone from Beverly Hills we recently moved who paid over $30000 and didn't complain' (as i was told by the next rung of customer service when i called to express my outrage) you may want to get them to come out and do a physical estimate onsite BEFORE you sign anything or pack up your items. Once they have your things and you've shut down your gas, electric, internet, etc., you're at their mercy and they know this. And that's why the last thing he (higher rung of customer service) said to me, well you can always cancel! Run, run away from SNY - stick with a more traditional site that's been around awhile, or like I said, if it's an option, get them to do an onsite walk thru to estimate your costs.
