In the beginning it was great, then no one came out to do the appraisal, then it had to be don over the phone. two hr on the phone. then 1 week before the move I find out that it was sub contracted to another compony. and they were absolutely, the worst right from the start. I would not recommend Land star, due to the fact that they told me they were doing the move. and at the last minute it gets passed off to a c***** mover.
The manager, Michael , came and did my estimate. He was thorough but I was not as thorough as he was so I hadn't yet decided for sure what I wanted him to pack. Therefore they did not bring enough boxes to pack everything but that was my fault. What they did pack and move they did a superb job in both in timeliness and care. After the movers complete, they determined that the estimate that I paid in full on delivery was more than the actual cost should have been, so I was issued a refund. Very happy with them and strongly recommend
Horrible moving company. They destroyed my possessions. And somehow got them all wet also. Thousands of dollars worth of damage to my things. Terrible terrible company.
These people are not to be trusted with your belongings! Every time I call they hang up on me. I call to find out why my furniture is not delivered weeks after the planned date. I call to find out why many of my boxes written on the bill of lading are missing. I call to find out why the pick up man walked in my place and in the first minute told me it will cost $450 more. I called to find out wht the came with three movers and one hand truck. They took mine and used it and I never saw it again. They stole it. I called to find out why my two ladders are missing, never delivered, and no one can tell me where they are. I called to find out why many of my boxes arrived soaking wet and my clothes were covered in mold and had to be thrown out. I called to find out why I received totes that do not belong to me and I made the driver take them back. I called to find out why they hang up on me every time I call. I called to ask why anthem claims only offered me $99 for compensation for everything that was lost stolen and unusable. They have not answered any questions. Stay away from these thugs. WARNING! DANGER!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE YOUR FURNITURE.! They get you to put a large deposit down and then you are trapped. I moved from Arizona to Michigan, after waiting for 30 days they delivered half of my furniture and are currently trying to locate the half. If this company calls you RUN.
