Cross Country Moving Company

We used this company to ship 2 cars and some boxes. They were reasonably price but the service was way above average. They handled the pick up and gave me quote that didn't change. The Manager kept me in the loop of when to expect my car and came at the very beginning of the arrival window. Was expecting to wait around awhile for the driver to pickup my car, but he showed up right on time. Also, my car arrived with no damage. Don't think I could ask for much more. They never once stretched the truth with any details and the work got done. They made it simple.

While most move to large places as the years go by we thought it would be smarter to down grade. We had 2000 square foot 3 bedroom and den. We spent a month before the move getting rid of stuff to save more money for the move. Selling extra things on eBay to get more money also. We moved into our smaller 2 bedroom unit in Columbus OH just last week. I liked everyone here a lot. They kept everything positive. My favorite thing about this business is they tell you everything before the move so there are no surprises during the move. There is no tricks to lure you in. Just good service and a hard working staff who cares about their clients and not just their clients money. Great for out of state moving, thank you!

From my personal experience I found its easy to find a bad moving experience. Just call up the cheapest company possible. It almost a guarantee you'll run into issues. I've had that happen twice to me so far. It changed my mentality for this move. Obviously I wanted to not pay too much but I took the extra time to look at other places and compare to the referral my realtor gave me. He was right on the money. Very High quality company. Cross country offered me some mid range prices, not the cheapest or most expensive but their service was far from mid range. It was top notch. They movers arrive with a list in hand that was created during the quoting phase of the move. The team already knew what was staying and was going (I was moving some things to storage for the time being. In world of scammers, Cross Country provided some real results that were as strong as their words.

Great move to Chicago by these guys. I really liked how their website gives you not only lots of info on moving details but also on the cities they serve. I always look for extra details and extra effort when deciding on any place or business to spend my money on. The receptionist was easy going and informative. I was able to get the moving time I wanted without having to deal with a huge time window on when they really would arrive. I've moved out of state only one other time before this one and it was a far different experience. Some companies really have a hard time staying organized or giving you all the rate info. Long distance is no nonsense, no fine print sort of moving company. Great customer service and all the moving guys were friendly at both ends of the move. They deserve this recognition for the move they gave me.

I wish I had as much energy as this whole team. Both packing, unpacking and organizing was all handled by them. Zero damage at all. Boxes were neatly packed and cushioned with packing materials. From what I saw all the movers were well trained, moving fast with some items and gentle with fragile ones. Labeling, they did it all. I got to be friends with one of the movers, he told me he's been working with them for over 4 years. It was a good feeling knowing everything I own was in the hands of quality company instead of one trying to make quick extra buck. Who ever reads this - Cross Country Movers gets my full recommendation and I've never once said that about a moving company.
