NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY OR COMPASS MOVING. COMPASS BROKERS OUT TO MAP MOVING and they don't give a s*** about what happens to your items. You know what is sad……this company DOES NOT care about their clients. I know what my son signed about the liability. If something had been scratched or had minor damage, then yes, I understand about the $.06 per pound. But, when your employees DELIBERATELY thrash your boxes, break a sofa, tear apart a bookcase, deliver a wet and dirty mattress that was in a cover, etc and we have to THROW expensive items out because of y’all and you won’t even take responsibility, that is s***** as hell! I don't know how you sleep at night! They broke the sofa/bent the frame and we had to pay to have it removed. I don’t care what the contract says. It’s also sad that people hire you thinking that you will take care of their items and that is sooooo far from the truth. You need to change your website to say, we will destroy your items and not reimburse you. They CONDONE their employees treating your things like s***. They don't deserve a star!

WARNING - please read. I hired Compass Moving Group to move my family from Arizona to New Hampshire. This mistake ended up costing my family over $5000 in lost and damaged property. Compass Moving Group is a broker who chooses a moving company to move your belongings. In my case, they set up my move with Carefree Moving Inc. I knew we were in trouble not long after Carefree Moving Inc. showed up to move us and after I googled the reviews, everyone else's nightmares were now mine but worse by the end of the move. Save yourself the trouble and devastating loss we went through by not hiring this broker who works with cut-rate movers and researching/hiring an actual moving company that cares about the customer so you will have peace of mind you and your families belongings will be cared for.

These people are a broker; they just make you broker. The only thing that went right was that I really did need a mover who could pick up and drop off in a short window. They picked up on Tuesday and dropped off 500 miles north on Saturday. The people that arrived to my house seemed to have never packed a box before. They hired extra help off Craigslist while in the middle of my job; no idea if they were licensed or insured. They left behind $600 worth of items that didn't fit in my car and had to be thrown away (I was too busy supervising the movers because the foreman was in the truck packing the tiers). On the other end, they broke a side chair, a table, and part of my piano. Instead of owning up to it, the furniture was carefully balanced by the movers so that it looked like it wasn't broken. In the end, Compass refunded me $200 and the transportation co, R&M transportation, refunded me $75 for about $2000 of stuff, including my piano which can't be fully repaired. Oh and the people who did my move went to the cannabis dispensary down the street from my house in the middle of my move. Don't use this company.

Worst company ever. The company they contracted was horrible. I was suppose to get my stuff in 21 days. They came 3 months later, and I had missing boxes with important papers and collections of stuff I had over many years. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

when i booked with them i was told i would pay $2567 and the representative compared my previous quote who i was going to book with and said to book with Compass instead bc the other company tell you one price then raise it on you at random and that Compass does not do that, their price you’re quoted is the valid price you’ll pay. Which was a lie, i ended up having to pay $3112 which is not what i was quoted l. And i did not get all of my items moved out my storage bc they wanted and additional $1,500 more to bring all my items from Vegas to Texas. When i was told all my items was included in the $2567 quote i was given. But come delivery the guy stated i would have to pay extra to have everything moved and i kept being hit with extra fees and was not expecting it bc the company lied and said this would not happen to me which is why i went with this company instead of the other one that i was going with. But i was lied to so that they can get the sale, and then at delivery the guys didn’t even bring my stuff in my place they said they could not fit their semi truck in my apartment and that i would have to go rent a uhaul so that they can move my stuff from their semi to the U-Haul and after that they’re done, meaning i had to be responsible for bringing all of my things up the stairs and inside the house. This experience with them was a nightmare, i was sold a lie. Would rate -1 if i can
