Changing Places Moving is a family-owned and operated moving and storage company based in Michigan. We have been helping people with their residential and commercial moves since 1979. We provide services throughout Michigan, the United States, and abroad.

Changing Places Moving is fully licensed and insured to handle the most fragile items, while our 15,600 square feet of storage facilities in two climate-controlled warehouses accommodated both temporary and long-term storage of residential or commercial furniture and equipment, as well as record retention.

Our company is an agent for Arpin Van Lines, doing interstate relocations in a swift, safe and affordable way. The goal of this union is quality service and competitive pricing, which is what we adhere to in every relocation we take care of. Our employees have the added benefit of access to extensive training through Arpin Van Lines, which makes our service that much more professional and reliable.

Changing Places Moving cares about the community it serves, not just by providing quality moving assistance. We are also members of many associations and organizations, some of which include the Michigan Movers Association, the Women’s Council of Realtors, and the Waterford, Clarkston, Birmingham-Bloomfield, and Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Michigan Motor Carrier Advisory Board. We also support many charities, some of which are Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, Lighthouse Clarkston, Homes Coalition, and Waterford Youth Coalition.
