We were quoted $2,060 over the phone I told them everything I had I provided pictures they come to my house charge double on top of yelling at us we are women. They damaged so much and we are missing 5 boxes I have told them in emails they ignore and don’t care. They need to be shut down now. We didn’t get other belongings til 3 days after pick up when they got there they were blasting music my Mom is disabled she didn’t want music they didn’t care. If they do not compensate me for my missing boxes I have already talked with a lawyer this is not right I have my receipts of how many totes I bought. We are missing a camera, pictures, clothes, my Dads army uniform. This is not right we moved in August we get ignored about missing things I have all my emails not once did they mention that’s missing let’s see what we can do to fix this. Never use these people.

They show up as promised. I give the guy the tour of what is going. We have actually taken 4 major room hogs out of the equation: a fridge, a mattress, a bbq and a shop vacuum. This guy starts telling me it’s not based on items it’s based on tiers of the truck. I’m like where’s my 26 foot truck I was promised. Richard told me I’d get my own truck. That it would not be off loaded on to another truck or shipped with anyone else’s. He said oh no that’s wrong. I also said I was given a rate based on that truck. No tiers ever mentioned. He said look I’m just doing my job. I let him finish talking. He then proceeds to tell me that we were quoted 17 tiers and my stuff is not going to fit. My new quote is more than 2.5 times the amount I was originally quoted!!!! $10,000 + What the heck?!! Of course I call to speak to the office they are closed til Monday. So they guy calls his disbatcher and says the best they can do is give you a flat rate of $8500 for this amount of space but you may have to leave stuff off. Um no!!! You guys can get in your truck and drive your happy asses back to Sylmar because you are taking advantage of people like us in this situation. Shame on you!!

The company quoted me a great price and then when they showed up the quote nearly doubled based on the amount of cubic footage my belongings took up in the truck. The only problem is that my belongings didn't take up nearly as much cubic footage as they claimed, and even once I did the math for them they were needlessly reluctant to adjust the price to the proper amount and they refused to counter my estimates by providing evidence that my belongings were indeed using up as much cubic footage as they claimed. In addition to pricing disputes, the customer service was poor, providing updates only once per week, not calling me back when promised, and avoiding my calls when I reached out to them. On top of all of this, they took more than a full month to deliver my belongings, which would have been disastrous had we not brought all of our essentials in our cars as we drove across the country. Finally, when our belongings did arrive we were lucky that they were not destroyed. Had it not been for the excellent packing job done by my fiancee, we almost certainly would have ended up with a ton of damaged items. Many of the boxes looked as though they had been dropped frequently and many had holes in them or were completely mangled. During unloading they flipped a television box end over end without care for the clearly posted "FRAGILE" on the box, and placed my mattress on the bare ground, covering it in dust and scraping the edges of the mattress on the concrete. They also unpacked and repacked boxes without my permission and without prior request. Avoid this moving company at all costs. Don't even call them.

Terrible experience from the start back in July and we are still dealing with issues 8 months later. Please stay away!! --Sales people- might seem nice on phone, but they will lie and say anything to close the deal. -- Movers- Arrived late and got to destination 2 weeks later than what they promised. --Service- Once the moving truck finally arrived at the new location, several items were missing and damaged. Of course, we got insurance, but here is the problem. The insurance claim took 4 months to process and was ultimately denied. It appears Blue Hawk and the Insurance company are working together to screw over any claims and customers. Again, I cannot stress this enough, find a different company, even if it is a bit more, it is well worth it.

Not even getting into the fact that they quoted me one price and then they get to my house and quote something else, saying they thought they were picking up appliances. This was 19 Oct. Delivery date was supposed to be 1 Nov. It is now 11 January 2021 and I STILL don't have my belongings. I've had to buy new clothes for my children and myself because they keep saying they dont have a truck to deliver my stuff...which is STILL in California. This place is a total scam and I would never recommend to anyone.
