If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They are scam artists. They oversell you, tell you any lie to get you to lock-in, then broker out your move, wipe their hands clean of it and will take zero accountability to you actually getting your things. Our pickup was 2 days later than committed (we busted our butts to get our entire house packed). The movers came and charged us $1500 more than Alliance quoted. Alliance didn't care. It's been 35 days and we still don't have our things. Alliance says, and I'll repeat, verbatim "we are not accountable for getting you your things." When I responded asking how that is possible since they are who we have a contract with she said "We only broker your move. We aren't accountable for the move itself." Stay away, as far as possible. Find a local mover or use PODS. I promise.

This company is a nightmare. They provided me a fake BBB posting to reassure me that they are a strong A rated company (If they provide you an A rated BBB, know this is their real BBB (https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/fort-lauderdale/profile/moving-brokers/alliance-van-lines-inc-0633-90504426) and report the fake one, that needs to be shut down. Besides what has been previously posted about them only being a broker, they are a terrible Broker. We were told that as we had scheduled the move months ahead of time we were on a route and we should not worry, despite telling them we work from home and our computers, desks and everything we needed to go back to work was packed, they said it wouldn't be a problem, luckily we decided to pack the computers in our car cuz its been over a month since our first available delivery date and they still don't even know when the truck will be loaded. We spoke to the owner, he straight up insulted my Fiancé and threatened to withhold our order if we didn't hang up. Needless to say we are past the last allotted delivery date and they don't care. I suspect the reason there are no responses to any of their negative reviews is their all true and (Again I suspect) their positive reviews are fake, as they're all roughly the same length from accounts with only one review. Never work with this company.

This company is the worst! They have lied to me from the very beginning promising this and that and in the end it's been weeks and I still haven't received my things! I am so livid right now cause I call almost everyday and no one ever answers my calls or if they do they don't help at all! I just tried calling the company for the 10th time and some girl in customer service named "Tylise" would not listen to my request to speak to a manager or the rep who did my order "Lisa". She talked over me and then hung up on me! They keep giving me the run around with giving me the compensation for all the money I sent on clothes and things I already have but never received! I have never had such TERRIBLE customer service in my life! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They will take your money, lie to you, and not help you when there is trouble! I have already reported this company twice! Also I am going to contact a lawyer because this has gone far enough!

My only recommendation is to stay far, FAR away from this company and never do business with them. When I originally booked with this company I spoke with a rep named Zak, I told him that I had a 3 bedroom 2 bath house to move. I told them all the items I had to move (which included a large sectional sofa, a California king bed, a queen bed/box spring, a twin bed/box spring, a bedroom set, and a table with a bench and 4 chairs) and they estimated that I would have 40 moving boxes, and they allotted me 640 sq ft of a truck, which should have had me questioning things. 4 days before my move Zak called me back to finalize my inventory. I removed quite a few items that I was able to get rid of including the queen and twin beds, the kitchen table, and the sectional. He ask me how many boxes I had, which I told him I was not done packing yet so I wasn’t sure how many exactly I would have. He assured me that was totally fine and he gave me my new pricing. I signed the contract, good to go. Moving day comes. The company that they contracted out to shows up 3 hours early. The guy I’m assuming was in charge of the crew came in, looked at the stuff I had, and immediately told me that it wasn’t all going to fit in the truck and he acts annoyed. I wish I had names, but the guy tells me that to put everything on the truck it’ll be AT LEAST $2500 more than the price I was told 4 days earlier. I tell him I’m calling alliance van lines because that is a HUGE discrepancy between quoted price and actual price, I could see maybe a few hundred dollars but $2500?! No way. I speak with a rep who says she’s not sure how to go about the issue so she transfers me to a man who claims he’s the manager, wish I could remember his name. When I say this man was the MOST UNprofessional person I’ve dealt with, it’s an understatement. He immediately has an attitude with me as I start explaining the situation to him and he started to loudly talk over me and kept increasingly getting louder every time I tried to get a word in. He then puts me on hold and calls my husband (who is already in our new location and not present with the movers) because apparently there’s no way a woman could handle the situation. He patches my husband into the call, who I promptly tell to hang up because he is not even in the state so he is not involved. The “manager” then continues to yell over me whenever I try to speak, which did result in me yelling a little. I tell him that my rep, Zak, told me not to worry about not knowing the exact number of boxes and that the quote would still be accurate. The “manager” tells me that I didn’t talk to Zak, I spoke with Ted in compliance to finalize my inventory, to which I told him that I definitely spoke with Zak because he introduced himself on the phone as Zak and I have an email from Zak’s email address with the final contract. To which the “manager” yelled at me that I spoke with Ted. I said he has a compliance issue if Ted is sending emails from Zak’s email address. The “manager” then hung up on me. After hanging up on me, the “manager” called my husband and proceeded to go on a rant to my HUSBAND about how I am crazy. I tried to call back multiple times, each time I would get a rep who would ask for my information and as soon as I told them my name, they would put me on hold and hang up on me. So obviously it was noted to do so if multiple reps did this. If you made it to the end of this, your takeaway should be that you should NEVER do business with this company. If I could give them zero stars I absolutely would.

Moving in a few days w Alliance VanLines. My concern is at the time of the move I’m required to pay 1/2 of the balance with a Postal Money Order. I have no recourse if problems arise w a Postal Money Order instead of charging it to my Credit Card. Is this ordinary w this company?
