A One Van Lines

I will try to be the most objective as possible. I had a domestic calamity around two years ago, that's the reason why I googled for last-minute movers and I found A-One Van Lines on the internet. Louis was very gentle, and due to the stress of my situation, the patience from the customer service department is highly appreciated. They handle a decent response-time and cover the most critical details to perform a good move. The truck's driver was supposed to contact me once he arrived in California but he was delayed by one day; I understand there are so many factors that could impact the punctuality of the truck, however, exempting for that everything goes smooth and my stuff was delivered with no issues. I recommend this company for those who are in a rush and looking for kind people on the other side of the phone.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I worked with Louis, who kept going on and on about how other companies were going to nickel and dime me. After negotiating a price I called a few days before my move to confirm the move and he started to tell me that he quoted me too low. He then went on to tell me that he needed to charge me for a COI. I told him he had promised to nickel and dime at the last minute. He put me on hold for over 5 minutes and his supervisor called on the other line to then inform me that they were down a truck and would not be able to accommodate my move. So, now two days before my move, I am left without movers and scrambling to find new ones. The funny thing, I would have paid for the COI - although after speaking to both of my building managers they said that they never have heard of a company charging for COI. For a company that promised not to nickel and dime me, they tried to, and when I would not budge they basically cancelled my move. Good luck if you do decide to use them.

The service was great. They were on time, movers very polite and careful. All went smoothly. I was very satisfied and if I move again will certainly use them. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a mover.

I booked a move with A One Van Lines and even though my plans changed, I was so impressed with their professionalism that I have chosen to write a review. My family in RI and MA have all used A One Van Lines when moving and so when I had some furniture to move to Brooklyn, they recommended I do the same. I called and everyone with whom I was in contact was professional and helpful. As it turned out, my plans changed but they allowed me to apply my deposit to my brother's move which was very fair of them and earned my respect. They are not inexpensive but based on the above, I would recommend that you contact A One Van Lines if you are looking for first class service!

When I typed "Movers and Packers in Brooklyn" the first result I got was this company. Definitively this guys know exactly what they are doing, the crew was clean and well mannered, Louis was very supportive and Mark highly accountable. Usually a moving process is very stressful but with this guys everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend this company.
